A very huge thank you to all my regular local customers, visitors from around the world and recent new customers, who have been supporting my small speciality wool business which will be turning 7 this year. Your health and well being mean a lot to me, therefore I feel that it is the right decision to close the shop temporarily.
Due to recent Government advisory measures to minimise social contacts and restrict business in order to control the spread of the Coronavirus in the community.
I would like to advise customers that as of end of business on Saturday 21st March 2020, I will be closing the shop to the public. This is not an easy decision to make, I have bills and rent to pay like all businesses, and but we all need to make huge sacrifices to reduce the spread of the Coronavirus and we all need to take this seriously now. We need to all stay indoors and minimise social contact with each other.
For health and safety reasons, I have had to restrict numbers in the shop to 2-3 customers max at any time to ensure that there is sufficient space for safe social distancing at the moment.
I am trying to minimise the time people spend in the shop, so if you have a specific need, please email or call me before you arrive. I never envisaged I would be in this situation, it is an extremely stressful time for everyone.
I have hand sanitizers available should you need to use them in the shop, payment terminals and door handles are constantly being disinfected and I will also be wearing a mask!
Please contact me via email at beinspiredfibres@gmail, Facebook or Instagram, to get the latest stock information and availability, shop information and updates. I do mail order, and I am happy to send photographs and payment link for credit card payments. You may try to call me on 0131 629 2059 between 10am – 12.00 Monday – Friday.
My online shop is currently only limited to special edition books and magazines, but this will change as I will now have more time to work on different distant selling platforms.
